Wow wait do people actually think this story is a romance? The connection between Gatsby and Daisy is Gatsby falling in love with an idea and pushing it onto someone before blindly chasing his goal of loving her.

If they ever did end up together it would suck more than a vacuum cleaner bc he’s slowly realise that she is not just a green light he can yearn for.

I support women’s rights, I support men’s rights, I support the rights of all genders: I support RIGHTS. For all people. Period. I avidly support feminism and it makes me physically ill to see all this animosity between feminists and MRAs. And being totally unbiased here, I have seen BOTH sides start an equal amount of pointless shit. Seems like that’s the only ounce of equality we can accomplish lately. I’m not saying everyone has to agree with everyone. But it would be terrific if we could all quit it with the generalizations and the name calling. Act like adults, not a pack of grade school children throwing tantrums and hissy fits.
